Andoer Sony cage a6500

First I will review cage for my a6500 from ANDOER . and later in this post I will show you a cool secret with Andoer grip for it .

Ordered this cage to compare it to the one from Smallrig 1661 as they look similar on pictures . I can tell they are identical ! the Smallrig has slightly better finish bit smoother to touch .

cage has classic 1/4 thread screw to securely hold camera on place . on front are two threaded holes for lens support , and on top is cold shoe also optional grip nicely made from alloy and it definitely not just protect but id ads to a handling if you have big hands like me!

cage has 34x 1/4 threads and 3x 3/8 threads so there is no shortage for mounting external accessories .

now about the price : this comes with grip and cable clamp price is set to $35usd pretty good as small rig cage is only cage for $30usd and grip around $20 .

talking of grips for small rig cage is only wooden grip available and that is not my taste ! one the moon as material is soft and east to break . also wooden color is no the nicest, unfortunately small rig not offering any other options of grips. so I ordered this ANDOER cage package just because of nice alloy black color grip! I was not 100% sure if it fit but it did ! perfectly !

so I screwed on to small rig cage 1661 grip from this Andoer cage .
